The weekend commemorates the 200th anniversary of the proclamation of war. (June 18, 1812.)
The official opening ceremonies start at 10 a.m. with dignitaries at Queenston Heights in Niagara-on-Lake, Ontario, and is open to the public. Included, is a Heritage Fair from 10-5, educational activities and crafts for kids, live entertainment, and more... all for FREE.
