200 years to the day since Laura Secord walked out her door...and into
Walk out the same door Laura Secord did exactly 200 years before and embark on your own “Walk into
History”, a 32 km journey traversing Niagara, from the Laura Secord Homestead in Queenston to the
DeCew House in Thorold, where Laura Secord delivered her fateful message to Lt. Fitzgibbon. Departures
start at 6:15 AM from the Homestead. Several options will be available (shorter and later start from other

DeCew House - 3:00 PM Special Ceremony to commemorate Laura Secord and the First Nations

Niagara College: Special Laura Secord ham radio operation setup – call out around the world, wine and beer tour and tastings, various food options

Rotary Park: Family fun, refreshments - last stop before new Bridge at Laura’s Crossing, Six

Laura Secord attended Holy Trinity Church for over 30 years. It is also where she met HRH The Prince of Wales in 1860. Rosalee Peppard will provide musical accompaniment to the service
