July 21, 2012 Grand Opening of the New Niagara Falls History Museum 5801 Ferry Street All Day Admission by Donation Join us after 2 years of renovations and expansion in a brand new museum that allows the visitor to explore thousands of years of history of one of the most famous City’s in the world. The drama of the falls is matched by the drama of our stories.
Visitors will be able to visit the R.D. Gale War of 1812 Visitors Centre and understand why this war has such an impact on the Canada we now have and the impact it had on the community of Niagara Falls. The Upper Galleries contain the significant events of our community through interactive exhibitions that provide you with an understanding of where we came from, where we are and where we are going.
The OPGI temporary gallery will house rotating exhibitions that examine our collection, the world and our place within it. The opening of this new facility will be a celebration of Niagara Falls, we invite everyone to come join the party.
