On June 8, 2013 Grimsby's Bicentennial history comes alive. Spend an entertaining and educational family afternoon at our 1812 Peace Garden. Interact with re-enactors and see demonstrations of life in a military camp of 1812. The day's climax will be land and naval re-enactment with ship's boats, artillery, infantry, Canadian militia and First Nations allies. A day to remember in Grimsby.
