WAR OF 1812: Bloody Battle of Lundy’s Lane recalled Sunday

NIAGARA FALLS – It’s called the bloodiest battle of the entire War of 1812.

This past weekend, the commemorative ceremony that marks the 199th anniversary of the Battle of Lundy’s Lane was held at Drummond Hill Cemetery.

Every year, the Lundy’s Lane Historical Society honours the participants of both sides of the battle close to the actual anniversary date of July 25.
