The Legacy Council’s main focus was to market and advertise the bicentennial events as a whole; a packaged deal that would feature the “Signature Events” taking place for each year. While each group/committee for each event also did their own marketing, the Legacy Council branded the entire region (Niagara and WNY) for marketing purposes.
