The Navy of 1812: Sailors on the Lakes

A naval encampment took place at Navy Hall with public access during the day, and a military encampment at Fort George. A land and water re-enactment took place at Queen's Royal Park. Roughly 3,000 people attended this marvelous event.

A collaborative experience between Parks Canada and the Directorate of Naval History and Heritage of the Royal Canadian Navy, this naval re-enactment saw a flotilla of over a dozen period vessels including schooners and ship boats.
