FORT ERIE – Following the Fort Erie Christmas Parade Sunday, Nov. 17, The Niagara Parks Commission’s Old Fort Erie will once again open its doors for the Festive Fort event, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

NPC staff will demonstrate how a military family would have celebrated Christmas at the Fort in the early 19th century. Fun crafts and activities will be available for kids, along with a visit from Father Christmas.

Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children (ages 6 to 12), and children under 5 enter free.

Located at 350 Lakeshore Rd. in Fort Erie, Old Fort Erie is a scenic 20-minute drive south of Niagara Falls. The new Visitor Centre, grounds and the main-floor rooms of the Fort are wheelchair accessible.
