Treaty of Ghent Ratification

The ratification of the Treaty of Ghent took place on February 17, 1815. This was re-enacted on the exact 200th anniversary at the same time of day-- in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The Friends of Fort George, in partnership with the Niagara 1812 Legacy Council, brought the Treaty of Ghent signing to life on its 200th anniversary.
